Hi there!
I have downloaded the free 21-day trial of RipX. I came across the software as I was looking for something to help me transcribe guitar comping from a record to make a backing track.
It's a female vocal, so I need to transpose it either +6 or -6 to suit my vocal range. Whenever I transpose the audio stems [vocals] [music] [bass] from vocalremover.org in Logic, the quality decreases.
Therefore, I was looking to reverse engineer the song, i.e., extract the guitar, bass and piano from audio to MIDI notes. Import the MIDI into Logic. And then transpose. This is how I came across RipX.
I tried isolating the guitar and applying Level - Guitar > Filter Notes (as advised). I changed it from -49DB to -30DB.
When I exported it and imported it into Logic, it sounded nothing like the guitar on the record. It had loads of other notes that aren't in the original. I tried ripping both original and "[music]" stem from vocalremover.org - both with the same outcome.
Hence, I have reverted to what I was going to do originally, which is manually transcribe bar by bar into Logic...
However, I would be very grateful if anyone could please have a look at these 2 songs and give me some insight into how to extract the guitar and turn it into MIDI.
It may be that there are too many background effects (Cuica, synth) on these particular songs that it isn't quite possible yet... But it would be great to get a second opinion on this as I have no experience in RipX (I have 26 years of Logic experience!).

Bossacucanova - Previsão
This will help me decide whether or not to take out a paid subscription of RipX, because if I can get it to work, it could be a really useful and essential software for me to invest in.
Happy to e-mail across both originals and separated versions from vocalremover.org
Cheers
Rory
