Hi there! I'm still pretty new to using RipX, so please bear with me is there is something I have missed in the manual.

PROBLEM

Sometimes when I am ripping a track to extract stems, the tempo is incorrectly calculated, yet the audio is unchanged. The bars will be misaligned from the stated tempo and I would like to correct this.

WHAT I TRIED

When I do Right Click > "Set Tempo" and set it to the correct tempo, the entire file speeds up or slows down in playback considerably, which makes the whole rip/project unusable and I have to start over.

What are the possible solutions to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance!

EXTRA SMALL QUESTION:

Is there a metronome available to use in the software? I'd like to hear if my adjustments are properly aligned with the bar markers when manipulating a track.

The tempo that RipX has found can be corrected by clicking & dragging the handles beneath the bar lines to reposition them. Subsequent bar lines update automatically so it is best to start with the first and work forwards through the Rip.

There is currently no metronome in RipX but you could add one to the Rip by for example copying & pasting a percussion note to the start of each beat of the first bar then Duplicating that to subsequent bars.

Hi David! Thanks for your help. I was able to fix my issue.

Thanks also for the tip with the metronome. I really appreciate you helping me out here! I had a hard time finding this information in the manual.

Love the software the team has made! I really love using it and I will probably be using it for the rest of my production career... However long that lasts 😉
