Perhaps I'm making an error...is there an export scenario where it would be expected that MIDI is not given as an option? I've tried multiple files multiple times and MIDI is not showing as an option.

It should always appear as an option in the 'File Format' menu. You may need to scroll the menu to see it (by using the mouse wheel or by clicking & dragging the scroll button on the right-hand side of the menu).

Oops...scrolling did the trick. I didn't previously need to scroll to see the MIDI option. Thanks David, for this and a fantastic program.
