Apologies I have not watched the tutorials. I rarely use this product and am far from being familiar with it. I will do so when I get a down time.
I have a live recording stereo file of a show, which I need to fix a few spots. The instrumentation is flute, vibraphone, bass, and drums. The fix is needed on timing on flute. The issue is not all the notes I need to attend don't show at all. This is not misidentified as other instruments since the range is above others. Is there sensitivity/threshold control?
The 2nd issue: The flute and vibraphone are both identified as piano as one instance. It would be nice if I could separate them, but I can't do this manually for this long file. Is there any trick to remedy this issue?
I appreciate any assistance. Best regards.

Regarding the first issue: We would need a copy of the audio file to see what is happening. So that we can arrange for you to share this with us, please could you send us a message via https://hitnmix.com/contact/
Regarding the second issue: For instruments other than voice, bass, piano and drums, it may sometimes be necessary to correct the assignment of notes within RipX DAW. This can be done by listening to them, selecting them and then assigning them to another layer by clicking on the appropriate arrow button in the Layers Panel. A new layer can be added to the Layers Panel by clicking ‘Add’ beneath the list of layers. There’s also the possibility of using the Stereo Pass filter effect (from the FX Panel) to separate them if they have different stereo positions.
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, my client does not wish to share the file.
As to your second suggestion, I already tried it before posting. The Stereo Pass Filter did not work. I manually separated them around the spots that needed to be worked on. I was hoping for an easier way. Feature request: Let the user select a prominent note that appears without a loud background and create a profile from it. Then, let the user rescan for the desired results.
