I am trying to rip mp3 files. RipX starts the rip process, but runs into an error message with each track it tries to create. See file for error description. RipX was previously working ok the last time I used it (several months ago). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling RipX. Don't know what else to do.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiening difficulties. Please could you answer the following questions:
1) Which version of Windows do you have installed?
2) What is the speed of your computer's CPU and how many cores does it have?
3) How much RAM does your computer have?
4) How much available space do you have on your C: drive?
5) Which version number of RipX DAW are you using? (For example, is it version 7.5.1?)
6) Do you experience this issue if you change the output folder for Rips so that it is your Desktop? (This can be done by clicking on 'Preferences' in RipX DAW's File menu.)
1. Windows 10 Home (x64) Version 2009 (build 26100.4202)
2. 3.20 gigahertz Intel Core i7-8700, Multi-core (6 total)
3. 24 gb
4. 1116 gb
5. 7.5.1
6. I do not experience the issue if I change the Output folder to Desktop.
Do you have controlled folder access enabled? If so, please could you add RipX DAW to the list of safe/allowed apps.

Got it! Working fine now. I guess that a Windows update might have reset that?
It's difficult to say. I'm glad to hear it's now working.
