Topic starter

So I've been testing RipLink in Nuendo 13. I have a stereo mix I want to separate into stems. So I right click on the audio in Nuendo and choose Extensions>RipLink. A window opens at the bottom with the RipX logo. I click on the logo and RipX opens and I can choose what audio I want to extract. The layers are created and I can do my editing etc. Once it is done ideally I would like to be able to drag and drop those individual layers into Nuendo (similar to how Spectral Layers Pro works). However that function doesn't seem to be available. However the manual says I can go to File > Update in Nuendo 13. But that doesn't seem to do anything. I was hoping that would magically put the individual rips onto the timeline. So my only option seems to be to export the separate stems from RipX and import them into Nuendo like you would do with the stand-alone version. Am I correct in thinking that the only way to do it? Any help would be much appreciated.

All the best,
Kraznet

I'm afraid it's not possible to use the RipLink plugin to take a stereo mix and send it back to Nuendo as separate stems so you're correct that you would need to export the separate stems from RipX DAW then import them into Nuendo.

Thank you for your feedback. I've passed it on to our development team.
